A great day, with lots of people ready to discover the news that Office 2007, Windows Vista and .NET 3.0 will reserve us for the near future. A great keynote with the presence of Jeff Raikes, with orrible questions for him from some MVPs (the rumours from the room was unanimous: maybe some of these MVPs has not totally understood what Jeff said
).
I've just come back to home with some confirmations:
- Windows Vista attracts a lot the eyes of everyone.
- Windows Vista will not have a big adoption on our customers soon.
- Office 2007 and the new platform integration could be the first step to do on our customer's systems.
- WPF is attractive but developers don't love too much to spend time on designing and painting, so we'll see soon a new figure on the IT companies: the designer.
