MCAD!!

Yes, the cross line is reached: today I've officially joined the Microsoft Certified Application Developer's community!

Today I've passed my last exam, 70-310 (Developing XML Web Services and Server Components with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and the Microsoft .NET Framework), and now I'm an MCAD.

The exam is difficult (at least for me that I don't work too often on all the topics covered) and experience counts a lot, expecially to have an high score (I had an high score on web services and service component topics but I've lost pounds on tracing and debugging topics). However, the final score was 838 and now it's passed!

Now the world has an MCAD more...

Wow! That's something to be proud of. Congratulations, Stefano. I passed my MCSD a few years ago and hate to think about having to get re-certified.

Dave, I can understand. To be re-certified is a big noise, expecially because certifications need a lot of work, study and time, time that must be subtracted to your work (and it's not always possible).
To be an MCAD I had to study only on my spare time and it's quite hard to do so
However, certifications are for life so your MCSD is still alive and a sign that you're a great programmer
