This morning the access to my Gmail account has give me a big surprise: the union of Gmail service and Google Talk will be soon a reality.
A new "Chats" button is actually present on Gmail and here you will be able to keep in touch with your contacts directly from the email client interface.
Finally, a real cool use of the Google's chat system...
