Redmond is listening...

This is undoubtley true... Microsoft is always more open to listen feedbacks directly from its users and customers and channels that are assuming every day more importance on this are Blogs and Forums.

I'm sure that someone on Microsoft is paying attention on what the community says and thinks and I can say this words because I see often community's requests that becomes reality.

The last things that makes me happy is this: I've always "spread the world" by saying that Microsoft have absolutely to release Office viewers for Windows Mobile Smartphone. It's unbelievable that, if I receive an email on my Windows Mobile Smartphone with an attached Word document, I can't read it because I don't have a reader... I've always said that Microsoft have to "smartphonized" their products by releasing Office readers.

Today the signal: there's an official voice from Microsoft announcing that they will release applications that will allow Windows Mobile Smartphone users to view Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on their devices.

Obviously, this is actually only an announce, the project is not a near project but only a "to-do" for the future. However, 2 facts are clear now:

  1. if you have a Windows Mobile Smartphone, you'll have the readers for all the main Office documents ready to be installed on your device and one of the main lacks of the Smartphone platform will be solved.
  2. someone on Microsoft is watching you...
