I'd like to have it... :)

I'm a big user of cell phones and I can't imagine myself out without my gsm, I think I will be lost...

This is a period where I'm observing the evolution of the smartphones (expecially because my Nokia 6600 seems to become old every day more) and I've decided what will be the characteristic that my future smarthphone must absolutely have: WiFi connectivity.

I'm often out of office and I've the needs to be connected, to check my email, to be in contact with my Instant Messaging friends, to surf the net when I've not a notebook on my hand. I really need it...

I'm happy to see that in these days lots of new smartphones with WiFi connectivity will be out (Nokia for example will release 3 new models soon) but I've to admit that my attention is every day more for the Windows Mobile models.

I've always used Symbian phones (really good) but I think that Windows Mobile is everyday more a powerful platform and having the possibility to write custom applications with .NET is undoubtely fascinating.

So, what is the model that actually attracts me more? No, not the I-Mate JasJar (the big present for who was at the last PDC, but too much like a little notebook), but always an I-Mate: the SP5m.

Actually this is exactly the smartphone that fits my needs... light, easy to take with me, WiFi support, Windows Mobile 5, good screen, built-in camera, USB pluggable.

Is there someone that has one of these on his hands? If yes, I'm waiting for a quick review...

I got an i-mate SP3 for a year or so and have been so far so good.
i-mate SP series are really nice looking and well working.
It was crashed only 2 times and by the time I am finding all its capabilities.
And for sure SP5 should be awesome because of it's implemented wifi which is the one I missed in my current phone because it doesn't support external SD card.
Also it's connectivity has been good.
