Roger Grimes, one of the man that works for the Windows IT Pro Magazine and a big expert of Internet Information Server has launched a contest: try to hack an IIS 6 site.
Hes' tired of the myth that IIS is an insecure platform (you're right Roger!) and so he has setup a site and a domain: HackIIS.com.
Although someone could criticize this, I think that Roger had a great idea. This is a chance to demonstrate that most security breaches are caused by not following basic security guidelines and best practices and that IIS 6.0 is highly secure when you implement it correctly. This is also a big chance to share knowledge and demonstrate how to protect your system against hack attempts.
If someone will hack the site, he'll win an X-Box and (most important) he'll contribute to the discover of possible bugs. I'm waiting for the results...
