Microsoft Update for Web Folders

This new version of Software Update for Web Folders enables you to update the Web Folders component in Microsoft Windows operating systems, and provides additional functionality including:
  • Support for Secure Socket Layers (SSL) with client certificates
  • Support for non-ASCII character encoding enhancements
  • Support for additional security enhancements

Any idea if this also affects the WebDAV
redirector? I would so like to mount a secure webdav location as a driveletter. (this is not possible with the current xp WebDAV
redirector)

No I've not idea if it could affects also a WevDAV redirector... but I'm not so sure. You've to try

Looks like the new features do not affect the WebDAV redirector... I failed to mount a ssl webdav address with "net use". Too bad...
