DasBlog, one of the most widespread blog platforms of the MS world (I think 2nd after .Text engine) is out today with a new release and a new home at SourceForge.net.
The new releases is the “long waited” 1.7, that improves the existing DasBlog platform and adds lots of interesting features, such as (only to signals my favourites):
- CAPTCHA control for comments
- Referral Blacklist and Support for the Movable Type Blacklist (ready to use the rel="nofollow" tag)
- Comments can be "closed" for a given Entry (I love this feature and the .Text version I’m using lacks on it).
- New MontView.aspx page for a large calendar view with posts
As you can see, it’s now a great Blog platform… congratulations to Omar and Scott. ;)
