Thinking for a name...

I'm starting to create a development group (composed by computer engineers focused on Windows and Linux development in many platforms) and I have at the moment a big problem... I need to create a good company name!!!

Can you help me? The group will be focused on solutions development and systems architecture.

Blogging people... if you have more fantasy than me, can you try to suggest me a possiblle company name?? All possible suggestions are welcome!

I guess Winux is taken (http://www.linux-france.org/prj/winux/English/) and we all know what happened to Lindows.

Here is another example
softexture.com - available to register

I usually prefer/suggest to keep small name for product/service/event/company. I personally feel that name should not be greater then 9 characters. This will create special bound with client if you have product/company name with lesser number of characters compare to the name with more characters. Name of the company must be simple (instead for having name with complex words) enough to tell them what actually you people are doing otherwise you will require to spend more funds to educate your customer about your service. Your company name and motto must be match with each other and help each other about your service and business objectives. Can you please tell me more about your service/location/objective/nature of work.

Regards

Mmm Softexture and Architechts are good suggestions... thanks guys. Firoz, do you want to know something about the service? The idea is to have a group of people working on different fields of development (Windows and Linux platform) centralized on a unique group. We're located mainly in the north of Italy.
Don't stop the suggestions...

I'm sorry to tell you that ArchITechnics is already used as 'name' of an Architect firm.

The only difference is that the 'IT' capitalization is different. I'm sorry that the www.architechnics.com is also registered...

Hi Stefano

From "Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary" (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary)

"ware" as adjective: careful, aware.
"ware" as noun: manufactured articles, products of art or craft, or farm produce.

A me piace :-)
