DotNetJunkies delirium...

An entire afternoon to perform a post on my blog... this is what happens sometimes (too often) here on DotNetJunkies Weblogs (plus errors during logins etc.).

Seeing always these problems is really frustrating... DNJ uses a really old version of .Text (0.94) and now (expecially with the big number of users on the community) the upgrade to the 0.95 version is really necessary. The 0.95 is more stable than the version we've here now, so... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, WE NEED AN UPGRADE SOON!!!

According to (http://www.dotnetjunkies.com/weblog/mainfeed.aspx) this blog uses 0.958.xx - which is the latest released version - in fact I think it actually uses some elements from 0.96, the search facility is certainly similar to that.

Curious... so the promised upgrade to 0.95 version is done? But the problems remains the same... why? Not well configured? I have a personal 0.95 .Text installation and I've never observed these problems that we've all here...

No idea...load issues? I know that in my own tests .TEXT 0.95 does tend to buckle under heavy load; especially the RSS feeds which aren't cached..

I was totally unaware of the upgrade. Will have it online ASAP. I checked GotDotNet for an update a bit ago and there wasn't anything. Is it being hosted somewhere else now????

Donny, thanks for listening... I known that here on DNJ you had the 0.94 version some times ago, but (as Scott pointed me) seems that you have installed the 0.95 (the mainfeed page shows this).
If this is true, the problems here are really curious... However, the new .Text version (now CommunityServer::Blogs) is officially attended in these days and you can find it on Telligentsystems.com website. Check this announce now:
