Problems with Firefox 1.0SR Plugins

Yesterday evening I've tryed to download some plugins for my new release of Firefox (1.0SR), in particular the Macromedia Flash Plugin and the updated skins available (updates from my previous Firefox release).

I've never had problems with the automatic update feature of Firefox but yesterday was impossible for me to download any updates.

Someone has found the same problem? Maybe a little incompatibility with XP SP2 (that I've installed on my machine)? Curious...

I found this too, for skins it often helps to totally uninstall the skin then reinstall it. THe extensions are being slowly updated (well, it took a day for all my favourites to update), just keep checking the site - I did it manually so I have no idea if the auto-update stuff works properly.

Thanks Scott... maybe the autoupdate feature for this new release was not totally completed, but yesterday I can't update my browser. However, I've not tryed a manual update, and I think I'll do so if the problem persists.

Hey, I recently made the conversion from IE to FireFox and I love it. FireFox is magnificent, but i am having one minor problem... After loading a web page, when I minimize the browser, then maximize it the screen jumps up and down continuously. i've done all the updates i can, but they even after i update, the updates still appear in the updates available section. Help please.

What Firefox version do you use? The last 1.0? I can't see this problem...
