Yes, the normal upgrade willbe 250Mb, but accordingly to rumours on forums seems that someone has obtained a free upgrade to 2Gb. Must be verified.

Free MSN users will benefit of a 250Mb account, while MSN Premium users will have a 2Gb webmail.

Maybe you don't understand the sense of my message... I know the default palns of MSN, 250 Mb for normal users and 2Gb for Premium... but what I want to say is that TODAY new MSN users (subscribed this morning) have see that their mailbox space is become 2 Gb... and this is really nor prevented.

the rumor is true. i just registered a new msn account and it shows a 2000mb capacity. but i feel it must be a bug.

ether a bug, or maybe they just want to test their new system... they're probably not getting that many premium subscribers.. so they use new members for piggytesting

The rumours are confirmed so... maybe a new strategy against competitors?
