If someone (like me) is interested not also on the .NET side of the world, but also on the "cousin" Java world, it's really interesting to see the new Sun's movements of these months.
After the releasing of source code for the new Looking Glass project (the new Java powered 3D user Interface) Sun is also planning to offer some of its Java Enterprise System under an open source license.
Although these are only project, they're a big advance on the Java diffusion... Sun is trying to pump up the Java world (the new "Java Powered" Logo that will appear soon on some Java-enabled devices is saying this...) and I think this is the right way.
